Grade 6 Sailing Program

All Grade 6 students at Paynesville Primary School get to enjoy completing the Tackers 1 and Tackers 2 Sailing course with Sailing Australia and Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club. Our school sailing program has been supporting our students to gain confidence on the water for a number of years and has produced a number of State Champions such as Charlie Broomhall, Taj Duff and Oskar Watkinson.

When you consider where we live, it is fantastic for children to have the opportunity to learn to sail from high quality instructors.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which Paynesville Primary School stands, the Kurnai People, and pay our respects to the Elders, both past and present, for they hold the hopes, dreams and aspirations of all Indigenous Australians.
