At Paynesville Primary School, we aim to ensure all our Grade 6 students are ready for the next phase of schooling and we have a number of ways to deal with transitioning to Secondary School.

Grade 6 students begin interacting with Secondary Schools early in the year before moving on with their Grade 6 studies. There are several visits to and by representatives of the various local Secondary Schools. 

Students have a number of schools available (Bairnsdale Secondary College, Nagle College, Gippsland Grammar), each offering a range of transition activities, culminating in a full day orientation in Term 4.
